Paradisia distributes plants Australia-wide.

Our products can be found at a wide range of retailers including specialist nurseries across Australia and Bunnings stores in all states.

Due to the compact size and high value of many of our plants, we are able to ship to most locations throughout Australia.

Freight & Delivery

Freight is arranged through specialised nursery transport companies experienced in handling live plants.

  • Freight is charged as a percentage of the invoice.
  • Freight is partly subsidised for metropolitan locations.
  • Deliveries to CBD areas or remote locations may not always be possible.
  • Additional freight charges may apply in some regions.

Shipping schedules vary between states. Please contact our team to confirm delivery days for your area.

Orders for Western Australia and Tasmania require an additional week for treatment and holding due to quarantine requirements.

Damages & Claims

If damage is visible on arrival please notify the carrier as well as Paradisia.

  • Freight damage must be reported immediately on arrival or as soon as cartons are unpacked.
  • Photographs of damaged cartons or trays will assist in processing claims.
  • All claims must be lodged within 7 days of stock arrival.

Quarantine

Quarantine is an important issue in Australia, not only for imported products but also for the movement of plants between states.

There are many regulations governing the transport of plants and agricultural material between states. While these requirements may appear restrictive, they exist to prevent the spread of pests, diseases and invasive plants that could cause serious long-term damage to industries, the environment and public health.

Australia already has many pests that are present in certain regions but not others. State quarantine regulations help prevent these pests from spreading further.

Some states, including Western Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory, require certification for all plant movement.

Paradisia is accredited for shipping to all Australian states. All required documentation and treatments are carried out on site.
