Carnivorous Range
Paradisia produces a diverse range of carnivorous plants, including Venus Flytraps, Nepenthes, Sarracenia, Drosera and other unusual insect-eating species. Plants are available in a variety of sizes, from young plants through to more established specimens.
Availability varies throughout the year as different species move through their growth cycles, with many temperate carnivorous plants undergoing a seasonal dormancy period.
7cm Venus Fly Traps and Nepenthes
Our 7cm Venus Flytrap and Nepenthes ranges provide an accessible introduction to two of the most popular carnivorous plant groups. Produced as separate lines, both ranges offer a changing selection of plants as different varieties move through production throughout the year.
7cm Sarracenias
The 7cm Sarracenia range includes a selection of North American pitcher plants grown for their distinctive upright traps and seasonal growth. Availability changes throughout the year as different species and hybrids move through production and dormancy cycles.
10-13cm Venus Fly Traps
The 10-13 cm Venus Flytrap range offers larger and more established plants, with stronger trap development and greater presentation value. Availability varies throughout the year as plants move through their natural growth and dormancy cycles.
10-13cm Sarracenias
The 10-13 cm Sarracenia range includes more mature pitcher plants available across a variety of species and hybrids. As plants move through seasonal growth and dormancy, availability continues to change throughout the year.
10-13cm Nepenthes
The Advanced Nepenthes range includes larger and more established tropical pitcher plants grown across a selection of species, hybrids and cultivars. Plants are produced to advanced size over a number of years, with availability varying throughout the year as different lines become ready for release.
